Coming back to Sherlock's talk of the day.
Me and my partner have been keeping a lookout and in search of suitable Fnb spaces for rent.
Trust me. It can be really discouraging at times looking at the experiences of others.
Every empty spaces now is whats left of the hard work of a previous operating restaurant.
As little nosy sherlock here poke and pry, went for viewings to understand the "crime scene" ,manage to steal menus of the ex-restaurants back home to analyse and countless of online research to understand the reason behind the previous owners' failure.
Im truly shocked by what i can learn out of the whole mystery.
Some restaurants are opened up by business owners for property speculations meaning to say the restaurants are open to act as a facade for solely monetary gains and not to satisfy yours or mine palate cravings.
And so the adventure continues .
We came across shop spaces that are empty with nobody knowing its existence even and with ridiculously high rental as compared to shops beside it.-This is what i meant by property speculations.
or
we saw shop space that is left untouched.Tables with built up dust, strewn documents all over the place, flickering lights, cutleries and everything left at its original spot.
Our thought:"The owner seems to left hurriedly leaving everything as it is."
The property agent:''The chef left thus, the owner have to wind up the business. The restaurant is doing very well."
The truth:''The chef and the owner is the same person. The restaurant is doing so badly and he have to wind up his business. In fact,he's now in heavy debts that he's unable to pay off."
Interesting much?
More to come.
Stay tune.
