This is my first post on this Food blog.
Like many restaurants, each and everyone have their own success story to tell.
But every success comes with hard work put in and many obstacles along the way.
I enjoyed reading successful stories of restaurants and cafe.
Probably cuz im a total foodie myself.
Its amazing to know the story behind every delicious food that i put into my mouth.
For eg,Where the food came about, whose the founder, the amount of hard work they put in to achieve what it was today.
It always motivates me greatly and it spurs me to open my own restaurant.
And yes. Im really doing it.
I've always wondered why all the aspiring or successful restauranteur never blogs about their challenging journey everyday to set up a restaurant or a cafe. Maybe they fear failures or maybe they fear others becoming more successful then them. But for me,opening a cafe has always been my dream and i would love to share this happiness and learning opportunity for others who dares to dream too.
Because this is what i believed in:
Every successful people starts off with something small. It was but only a little insignificant idea that grew into something bigger then they could ever imagined.Never doubt what your little idea could do to change your life and the world.
Coming back to the purpose of this blog,
I want to share my love for food with the other foodie out there and also to the aspiring restauranteur,to embark on a journey with me to my dream.Opening a cafe where my chefs can whipped a nice good meal that satisfy the souls and the stomachs of many others.
Be it a success or if it ever just become a past story in future.
I wish and sincerely hope my cafe had once brightened up a day of someone or bring joy to a a family.
With that,
The below picture shall end my first post on this blog.
Its an awesome mixed grill when i was in Amsterdam last year.
The funny thing about this dish is you have to eat it from your lap.
That would be your so called table-that wooden plate.
Its fun eh?
